Kris Aquino dropped a bombshell on social media by saying her former home network no longer wants her back.
The TV host said this as a reply to follower on her Instagram post on Tue, Nov 15, which shows a photo of Kris with Darla Sauler, the headwriter for her former ABS-CBN morning show Kris TV.
“We miss you both,” a netizen commented. “Please come back to ABS. Miss ko na yung papakain mo lahat kay Darla yung food kapag nagfefeature kayo ng mga restaurants.”
(“We miss you both. Please come back to ABS. I miss it when you give all the food to Darla when you feature restaurants.”)
But Kris dashed the hopes of her followers who want her to return to the Kapamilya network.
“Heartwarming sentiments,” she replied. “But ABS-CBN no longer wants me.” Kris even added “#truth” to her comment.
Kris left ABS-CBN earlier this year, when she did not renew her contract with the network. Since then, the TV host-actress has not had a regular TV show. Kris has been seen as a guest on Marian Rivera’s defunct morning show Yan Ang Morning and hosted the GoNegosyo SME Summit which aired on TV5 and PTV4 last week.
In any case, according to reports, Kris is working on a new media venture, her comeback of sorts, with her manager Tony Tuviera.
