The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) just released a press statement announcing that they “caught a teen actor and three others while in the act of smoking marijuana during an international music festival in Clarkfield, Pampanga.” While they didn’t name the teen actor, PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. Described the teen actor as someone who “starred in the hit TV series Galema,” and that he is also “a former contestant of a popular reality TV show.”
According to the statement, Kit and three persons were caught in the act of smoking marijuana just before midnight and that they were able to confiscate “a stainless box containing marijuana dried leaves, one piece of marijuana stick, and one blue tablet suspected to be Valium, and a smoking pipe with marijuana residue.”
According to Pep.ph, a source told them that Kit was turned over to the Department of Social Welfare Development in San Fernando, Pampanga, but that he has already been released and that the drug tests turned out negative.
Jeffrey Tacio, the Regional Director of PDEA Region 3, however cannot confirm or deny because we are talking about a 17-year old here, a minor.
Most of the commenters in the Pep.ph story think that it is Kit Thompson.
