Claudine Barretto says she and ex-husband Raymart Santiago have become such good friends of late, they decided to stop with the annulment papers and just try this co-parenting setup they’ve stumbled upon.
“Kasi nga, nag-fail po kami as husband and wife sa mga anak namin. So we don’t wanna fail as parents naman,” Claudine said at the press conference of her new series on TV 5, Bakit Manipis Ang Ulap.
“Napag-usapan namin na i-stop na lahat-lahat ng mga kaso ang mag-co-parenting na lang kami sa pagpapalaki ng mga anak namin. And now na meron kaming naayos na foundation, strong foundation na sobrang solid talaga when it comes to our kids, napag-usapan namin.”
She says the set-up works for everyone, especially the kids. “Ngayon lang nila na-e-enjoy kami together, paminsan-minsan, like sa school or kumakain sa labas,” Claudine continues.
But it doesn’t mean the annulment idea has been abandoned all together. According to Claudine, as soon as the kids are ready or when she’s fallen in love all over again, then they’ll proceed with the annulment case. With a report from PEP.ph
