Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt is having a moment.
Merritt’s beauty routine consists of using coconut oil to moisturize her skin and aloe vera to take care of her hair. And get this — she grows her own aloe vera in a plant pot.
She shared that she likes using a foundation that’s darker than her natural skin color because she likes to appear tanned. Merritt also had a tip for ladies who have no idea how to apply mascara.
She said: “[Just] wiggle at the bottom and then drag [the wand] up.”
She makes it sound so easy.
In the video, she also talked about her journey as a model and what a big deal it was for many Filipinos.
She said: “It means a lot to me and the people back home because they love Victoria’s Secret so much. And they’ve always wanted a Philippine model to walk. It’s not just success for me — it’s also success for them.”
