The big day is almost here for Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo!
The celebrity couple are set to get married on Dec in Cebu after being together for two years.
Kaye, 34, can’t wait for her wedding day. But she also can’t believe she’s tying the knot with Jake soon.
“Hanggang ngayon hindi ako makapaniwala na ikakasal ako. Minsan bumabiyahe ako mag-isa, ‘Grabe ikakasal na talaga ako.’ Siguro hindi siya magsi-sink in hanggang sa araw na iyon,” she said in an interview at the sidelines of Camille Prats’ bridal show over the weekend.

(“Until now, I can’t believe I’m gonna get married. Sometimes, I would go out alone and tell myself, ‘Wow, I’m getting married soon.’ Maybe it won’t sink in until the day comes.”)
She’s also anxious about the adjustments that come with the married life. For one, Kaye would be staying in Cebu with Paul Jake after the wedding.
Kaye also quipped: “Natatakot ako sa buhay na may asawa. Kasi hindi na siya yung kapag nag-away kayo, pwede mo siyang iwan. Hindi na ganoon.”
(“I’m scared of married life. It’s like I can no longer leave him if we suddenly fight. It won’t be like that anymore.”)
The couple initially wanted their wedding to be an intimate gather. But that’s no longer the case. Kaye and Paul Jake will have 900 guests, mostly the actor’s family and friends (she will only have 180 guests, Kaye said).
“Excited ako kasi medyo matagal ko din naman hinintay ito. Akala ko nga dati tatanda akong dalaga. So, excited ako kung paano kami magha-handle ng pamilya dalawa. Excited ako na magkaka-baby kami,” Kaye said.
