South Korean boyband Super Junior (yes, that is their name) will be back in the country for the Manila leg of their “Super Show 8” concert at Pasay City’s Mall of Asia Arena on Dec. 15.

Concert promoter Pulp Live World teased the announcement yesterday on its social media accounts, listing the K-pop group’s one-day concert event, although ticket prices have yet to be released.

Also known as SJ or SuJu to fans, the 14-year old boyband has been actively peddling a mix of dance-pop, electronic, R&B and K-pop music since 2005, making them one of the first groups to come off the now trendy K-pop market assembly line.

Just to give you an idea of their popularity, their 2009 hit song “Sorry, Sorry” has 111 million views on YouTube.

Currently made up of nine members (count ’em!) — Leeteuk, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Shindong, Yesung, and Heechul — SuJu needs no introduction to their millions of rabid fans in the Philippines.

Super Junior was in the country last year performing the Manila leg of their world concert tour “Super Show 7,” which over 13,000 Filipinos attended.

They’ll be promoting their ninth studio album, “Time Slip,” and its lead single “Super Clap” in December. For details, see Mall of Asia Arena’s contact info below.
