K-pop boy band EXO returns to Manila in August

One of K-pop’s hottest male groups is coming back to Manila.

EXO will perform in the Philippines once again in a one-night show on Aug. 24, Saturday, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. This was announced by concert promoter PULP Live World on its official Facebook page last night.

Fans are so excited by the groups’ return that PULP’s announcement on Facebook quickly went viral and has been shared almost 19,000 times as of this article’s posting. On the other hand, PULP’s Twitter announcement has been retweeted almost 22,000 times.

Tickets will be sold starting 12nn on August 4, Sunday at SM Tickets outlets and online via its official website. Ticket prices will be announced soon on PULP’s social media accounts and on its website.

EXO is a frequent visitor in the country. They were in Manila in August last year for the Philippine leg of their EXO PLANET #4 – The ElyXiOn tour. They returned again two months later to perform at the live broadcast of the variety program Show Champion, which was taped at the Mall of Asia Arena.

This time, the boys will be here for the Philippine leg of their EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration tour. Called the “Kings of K-pop,” the group is famous for hits such as GrowlCall Me BabyPower, and Wolf.

Fans can’t hide their excitement over the group’s return. “Tell me you’re accepting kidney[s] as payment,” joked Lee Tamayo.

But some people are counting on PULP to make the ticket prices budget-friendly. “Please make the ticket prices affordable,” asked Cherry Tiamzon.
