From Kapamilya to Kapuso! K-La Rivera, who won in the ABS-CBN talent search Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar in 2010, and was also a MYX VJ for Studio 23, can now be seen in GMA 7. She was introduced as the newest addition to the noontime show Sunday All Stars last week, but clarified that she’s still negotiating with GMA when it comes to being a full-time Kapuso.
So what made her move? She has a new manager, who happens to be with GMA also, so, yeah, that’s a no-brainer.
She also has a new screen name – Kaye – since the station already has Kyla and Kylie (Padilla). Apart from Sunday All Stars, she will be also seen in the primetime show Carmela, as the daughter of the vice mayor (Roi Vinzon).
The juiciest part about all this is how she is the rumored girlfriend of My Husband’s Lover star Tom Rodriguez, and how she was most probably convinced to follow him to GMA. She clarifies, however, that she’ll be wherever she can sing or perform or share her talents. She also denied that they are living together.
