Singer Charice and his live-in partner Alyssa Quijano head to the sad town of Splitsville after four years of being together.
“Yes, Charice and Alyssa have broken up and it was a mutual decision,” said the singer’s handler Carl Cabral in a report by ABS-CBN News. “Charice is not accepting any interviews and now taking a break. He’s doing fine and he’s happy. Thank you very much.”
In 2013, Charice shocked the world when he came out as a lesbian on national television. On the same year, he also announced his romantic relationship with Alyssa, a former contestant of “The X Factor Philippines.”

The vocal powerhouse is known best known for a series of hits and a stint on Glee. Earlier this year, he announced on Twitter that while he’s happy with his achievements, he also needed a break.
