No doubt about it: Julia is the most promising teen star of ABS-CBN. For crying out loud, she even has her own show, Mira Bella. Despite her good looks and charm, however, criticism abounds.
The number one comment about her is that she is maarte, and she addressed this when she was a guest in Aquino and Abunda Tonight on March 24.
Fighting back tears (that eventually fell), she explained that it’s hard when people judge you even if they don’t know the real you. She emphasized that it’s pretty difficult to face all these issues considering she is just 17 years old. “But you can’t explain yourself to everybody,” she said, adding that “they don’t all deserve to be given an explanation about yourself.”
She may be just starting out but she’s already facing a lot of criticism. Apart from the maarte comment, some people also don’t like how she’s being partnered with Enrique Gil. And then there is that surname, which drags the rest of the Barretto clan to the picture.
Oh well, the price that you have to pay…
