Yesterday, May 29, Cory Quirino held an event at the Glorietta 5 Atrium, where she presented the finalists of Mr. World Philippines—and announced the winner.
Hosted by Divine Lee and Tim Yap, it was weird how there were only two candidates: models John Spainhour and Sam Ajdani.
John is famous for winning Century Tuna Superbods in 2012, and for photobombing Kris Aquino’s group photo.
Sam is famous for appearing in shows for Bench and Cosmo.
They were asked some questions and asked to take their tops off so the audience could see their six-pack.
And then it was time to announce the winner. Yup, that fast.
John was proclaimed our representative to the competition in London this June; he’s already flying to Torbay in the English Riviera this weekend for the pageant.
Don’t feel bad for Sam, however, because he won, too. The model, represented by Mercator, is our bet for the competition in 2015.

We have a great feeling these two will do a terrific job.
