Hey John Lloyd Cruz! You with the puppy dog eyes! Are you, like, trying to troll us?
The 31-year-old actor, fresh from the Berlin International Film Festival where he made pa-picture with the likes of Meryl Streep, appeared on Tonight With Boy Abunda last night, with Piolo Pascual, where they both talked about how it was like to work in the Lav Diaz movie, Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis, and attending the Berlinale.
But it was in the talk show’s “Fast Talk” segment — where Boy Abunda assaults guests with rapid-fire questions — that JLC caught our attention.
Asked what his favorite Piolo film is, JLC picked Dreamboy.
This is an interesting answer — the 2005 movie, while not exactly critically acclaimed, stars Bea Alonzo, with whom JLC is rumored to be in a relationship, now that the actress has broken it off with actor Zanjoe Marudo.
JLC, in case you have been living under a rock, is also rumored to have split with actress Angelica Panganiban.
But what pricked our ears was his answer when asked if he prefers girls with long or short hair. JLC grinned and said, “Shoulder-length.”
Well, well, well. Guess who’s known to sport shoulder-length hair?
And who just cut her hair short?
Finally, asked if he is currently in love, he said, “I’m a work in progress.”
Is John Lloyd hinting that he has already found a new love or that he and Angelica are still together?
We’re dying to know.
