This year is turning out to be a year of reunions.
Based on reports, John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo are set to reunite for a movie this 2017. Star Cinema is yet to make an official statement on their much-awaited reunion.
But James Banaag, Digital Media Coordinator of Star Creatives, hints at the John Lloyd-Sarah movie in a tweet over the weekend.

In response to the tweet, ABS-CBN actress Loisa Andalio asked: “Totoo ba? (Is it true)” Banaag replied: “Yes. THIS YEAR!”

Yup, it looks like it’s happening.
In case you’ve forgotten, John Lloyd and Sarah in a series of hit romantic-comedy movies. The tandem first graced the big screen with A Very Special Love in 2008, which earned around P170 million, according to Pep.
Two hit sequels followed: You Changed My Life in 2009 and It Takes A Man And A Woman in 2013, which sees John Lloyd’s Miggy Montenegro and Sarah’s Laida Magtalas getting married.
Reports of a follow-up immediately surfaced after the success of their 2013 movie. But Sarah ended up doing movies with Coco Martin (Maybe This Time in 2014) and Piolo Pascual (The Breakup Playlist in 2015).
The singer-actress did not star in a movie last year, which makes the reported reunion exciting. We can’t wait!
