You have to admire Jericho Rosales for his honesty.
In an interview with Marinel Cruz of the Philippine Daily Inquirer that came out on Fri, Jun 3, the ABS-CBN actor admitted that he took drugs as a teenager.

However, Jericho said he stopped using drugs when he realized “there’s so much more to life than that.”
“I don’t want to sound preachy, but I want to tell kids that it isn’t cool to take drugs,” he said.
The actor’s statement is in reaction to the deaths at the “Forever Summer” concert organized by toothpaste brand Close-Up last month.

According to Jericho, “people like us should do something to help these kids.”
His recommendation? “They (kids) should enjoy life by going out. They should go to church. Churches are cool. Churches are not baduy.” He also suggests kids to take up biking instead of drugs. “It will give you a different high.”
Take it from Jericho, kids: You can have fun without taking drugs.
