There’s a new Kapamilya in the house!
Well, sort of.
After the finale of her GMA-7 primetime series Poor Señorita, the Philippines’ “Queen of Soul” Jaya appeared on ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime and made her big announcement.
Together with Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, and music icon Rey Valera, Jaya is now one of the judges of It’s Showtime’s singing contest, Tawag ng Tanghalan.
Jaya, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ramsey, joined It’s Showtime after 16 years with GMA7.
“This all happens so fast… I’m excited to start my new life here,” Jaya said after her very first It’s Showtime performance.
The Queen of Soul announced her judging stint, but didn’t confirm if she’s signing in as an official Kapamilya. We think we all know where this is going, but for now, welcome to ABS-CBN, Jaya!
