Janine Tugonon and Valerie Weigmann grace New York Fashion Week

Two Filipinas joined famed leggy models at the catwalk of the recently-concluded New York Fashion Week.

We all know Miss Universe 2012 runner-up Janine Tugonon, who was included in the high-end calendar models of Nu Muses last year. Well, she sashayed the New York runway for the Fall-Winter ‘17 fashion shows of Malan Breton and Denibi.

Then, there’s also Miss World Philippines 2014 Filipino-German Valerie Weigmann who, is probably best known in the Philippines for her short stint as a host of the noontime show Eat Bulaga. She walked in Ane Amour’s “Daughters of Artemis” show.

Other beauty queens who were at the show were Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber, and Miss Universe 2015 first runner-up Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez.

The New York Fashion Week ran from Feb 9 until Feb 15 (US time).
