Well, this could be awkward.
On Mon, Aug 8, James Yap’s girlfriend Michela Cazzola gave birth to a baby boy.
James and Michela’s son will be named Michael James.
“Excited ako dahil, kumbaga, masasabi natin na lalaki ito sa tabi… Ipadadala ko si baby Michael sa mga games ko,” James said in an interview in ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol aired Tue, Aug 9.
(I’m excited because we can say that he will grow up by my side. I will send baby Michael to watch my games.)
Michael James is the cager’s third child. James has a son, James “Bimby” Yap Jr., with ex-wife Kris Aquino. He has another child with a previous girlfriend.
Unfortunately, James admitted he hasn’t had chance to tell son Bimby that he will be having a younger brother.
“Hindi ko pa nasabi sa kanya. Walang chance na sabihin sa kanya,” he said.
(I haven’t told him yet. There’s no chance to tell him.)
James added: “Ang tagal ko na siyang hindi nakita.”
(I haven’t seen him in a long time.)
But Michela has no issues with Michael James meeting his big brother in the future, if Bimby would want to, James said.
“Kung gusto makita ni Bimb makita yung baby brother nýa, any time,” he added.
