More than two weeks after Max Eigenmann revealed that he’s the real father of her sister Andi Eigenmann’s daughter Ellie, Jake Ejercito finally broke his silence.

On Sun, Oct 2, Jake posted a photo of himself and Ellie on his Instagram page. He wrote an emotional message for Ellie as well.
While it does not directly address the paternity issue, what Jake wrote could be taken as his confirmation that he is Ellie’s father.
Part of his message reads: “It may have taken me years to find out by myself, but I’ve been here for you even before your first precious breath – nothing and no one has or will ever change that.”
He also wrote: “As we always tell each other whenever we part ways or go to sleep, you will always be my princess and I, your first love.”
On Fri, Sep 30, Andi released a statement about the issue, asking the public to respect her daughter Ellie’s privacy.
The statement, first published on PEP, reads: “Recent events have put my daughter Ellie into the limelight with the media, netizens, and strangers questioning who her father is. I made a conscious choice not to talk about the paternity of my daughter in order to protect the privacy of Ellie.”
Andi went on to explain, “Although she was born into a showbiz family, as a mother, I would like to shield her from the intrigues and gossip that are part of the industry. Growing up, Ellie knew who her father was and he has been there for her, and that’s all that matters. I hope this will put the issue to rest, out of concern for my very young daughter. I’m requesting everyone to respect the privacy of Ellie.”
