Guess the breakup is still all too fresh?
Jake Cuenca walked out of a recent Gandang Gabi Vice taping because his ex was there.
“Nagulat ako. Pagsilip ko sa pintuan, nakita ko yung ex ko,” he explains to pep.ph.
He was referring to Filipina-Australian Chanel Olive Thomas, a candidate for Miss Earth. Apparently, Miss Earth candidates were all there at the studio, too.
It wasn’t to hide or anything. Jake simply didn’t want to put his ex in an awkward position, or steal her thunder, so to speak. “Ayaw ko ilagay sa alanganin yung tao, lalo na moment niya ngayon mag-Miss Earth,” the actor explains.
He apologized to Vice, who understood and respected his decision, Jake says.
And FYI, the dude is already dating someone new, a model named Sara Grace Kelley.
