Granada, 41, was pronounced dead on November 5 after she fell into a coma during a meet-and-greet session with fans in Doha.

The condition that led to her collapse was described as a brain hemorrhage indicating aneurysm, which in turn affected her heart.

Guapa told GMA News Online in an interview that she was still in denial and was struggling to accept her daughter’s death.

“I can’t believe it. I really can’t take that she’s gone,” she said in Tagalog.

Guapa said that Isabel’s dream when she was alive was getting a star on the walk of fame

“I’m not okay, but I’m still happy for her,” Guapa said.

Granada first shot to fame as a child and teen star in the 1980s. She began her career as part of the iconic talent and variety show, That’s Entertainment.

She was among the personalities who received their stars at Eastwood last night, alongside the likes of Matteo Guidicelli, Solenn Heussaff, Karen Davila, Anthony Taberna and Atom Araullo.

Also inducted were Empoy Marquez, Jake Zyrus, and Regal Films matriarch Mother Lily Monterverde, among others.

A brainchild of late TV host and Philippine showbiz icon German Moreno, the Eastwood Walk of Fame, inspired by its version in Hollywood, recognizes successful local TV and movie personalities.
