Intimate concert experience with Chris Botti and Sting costs less than watching Madonna perform on stage

While the prices for the VIP tickets to Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour concert reached a shocking PHP57,000, die-hard fans of Chris Botti and Sting may enjoy a one-of-a-kind intimate experience with the two performers for a more modest price of PHP40,000.

Chris Botti and Sting will hold their post-Valentine concert Up Close and Personal on Mar 3, 8pm, at the Marriot Grand Ballroom.

The unique stage VIP seating allows 60 guests to share the stage with Botti and Sting as they perform their greatest hits. This takes the concert experience to a whole new level for those who are willing to pay the price — the artists will practically be within their reach.

According to Ticketworld, regular VIP tickets are priced at PHP34,000, and Gold tickets cost PHP28,000.

Botti is best known for fusing jazz and pop music. He won the 2013 55th Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for his album Impressions.

Sting was the bassist for the new wave rock band The Police, before launching a successful solo career. He has received 16 Grammy Award. Most recently, he received a TONY nomination for his score written for the Broadway musical, The Last Ship.

Sting and Botti have a history of collaboration. Botti played trumpet on Sting’s Grammy award-winning 1999 album Brand New Day, and went on to join the singer on his Brand New Day Tour.

It’s the first time for Sting and Chris Botti to perform together in the Philippines.

Mar 3, 8pm, at Marriot Hotel, Resorts World Manila. Ticket prices start from PHP11,000.
