Indonesian rapper Brian Imanuel aka Rich Chigga will be coming to the Philippines on Dec. 13.

The Manila show is part of his Asian tour with Chinese rap group the Higher Brothers, and Japanese-Australian musician Joji, which they’ll be kicking off on Nov. 30 in South Korea.

He’ll be performing at the Manila House, in Newport City, Pasay. But if you’re a fan of the Higher Brothers (who are scheduled to hit Hong Kong’s Clockenflap festival this month) or Joji.

Chigga became an internet sensation at the tender age of 16 after releasing the semi-comedic, self-made music video for his single Dat $tick. The video, which showed the slender teen dabbing, pouring cognac, and waving guns around a quiet residential street in Jakarta while rapping about killing cops (and briefly about Indonesia’s drug problem and the wealth gap), has been viewed over 70 million times on YouTube:

While Dat $tick blew up at least partially due to the comedy value of Imanuel’s deadpan, nerdy-but-menacing vibe, many of those who watched it took notice of his actual talent for spitting bars. While filming a reaction video for the teen’s management company 88rising, Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah immediately offered to collaborate with the budding rapper. (A promise he made good on, by the way.)

In addition to Manila, Chigga will also perform in other Southeast Asian Cities including Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore.

Check out their website for info on how to purchase tickets.
