Veronica “Kitty” Duterte, the daughter of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, and apparently a huge Ariana Grande fan, is under fire on social media for a tweet she posted Tuesday.
Kitty is Duterte’s youngest and only child with common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña.
Malacañang’s resident millenial met singer Ariana Grande after the artist’s Manila concert Monday. Like many people her age, Kitty posted her photo with Grande on social media.

But the flak from netizens is directed towards her caption that reads: “I’m literally dying.” A statement that some argue is insensitive and tone deaf given the thousands of deaths caused by her father’s war on drugs.

Others defended the 13-year-old and said that she shouldn’t be dragged into her father’s issues.
Some people in here are salty, some got a point but yall gotta stop and let her live her life, wth she got nothing to do with the issue.

Was Kitty being insensitive or just being a typical millennial (who just happens to be the president’s kid) fan-girling over her idol?
