A super cool Ian Veneracion totally stole the show — and our hearts — at yesterday’s grand press conference of Metro Manila Film Festival entry All You Need is Pag-Ibig.
Ian and Jodi Sta. Maria, who successfully give Pangako Sa Yo an extra dose of kilig as forbidden lovers Eduardo Buenavista and Amor Powers, are joining the once-beleaguered MMFF entry that stars Kris Aquino and Derek Ramsay.
“I’ve been in showbiz long enough to realize that I shouldn’t take things personally. Kapag may show na successful, you just enjoy the ride,” the 40-year-old actor said about his second wind in showbusiness.
Apart from not ruffling his handsome feathers, Ian also says his new-found fame isn’t affecting marriage. “My wife is a confident person, she knows how professional I am when it comes to work,” he says.
“Kaya naman hindi ako nali-link ever since sa mga leading lady sa showbiz, kasi gusto ko yung ganun — to be professional. Even yung kissing scenes, the last thing I want is sabihin na nag-take advantage [ako],” he says.
