How the hell did that happen? Coco explained to Vice Ganda in his show Gandang Gabi Vice that talent manager Ed Instrella is the one responsible for that. Coco didn’t like it instantly, however. “Parang hindi seryoso,” Coco told Ed. “Parang pinag-trip-an lang. Honestly, yun ang nasa isip ko nun.” He eventually said yes, though, since he respects Ed, who handles the careers of artistas like Cherry Pie Picache and Jaclyn Jose.
But why Coco Martin? Coco shared that Ed just combined the names of two popular people during those times: Coco Lee and Ricky Martin.
