Book lovers, listen up! Big Bad Wolf, one of Southeast Asia’s biggest book sales, announced yesterday on Facebook that it’s coming back to Manila for the third time, and this year, two million new books will be sold.

That’s right — before you’ve even finished reading all the books you bought last year (don’t deny it), the sale is once again in our neck of the woods. Bookworms can troop over to World Trade Center in Pasay City from Feb. 14 to 24 and expect to see titles discounted for as much as 90 percent off. Just like in previous years, their doors are open 24 hours, so shoppers can drop in anytime they want.

What’s more, some of this year’s proceeds will go to a good cause.

“In relation with the recent news of the Taal Volcano, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Manila 2020 is pledging to aid the people of Tagaytay through our partner Gawad Kalinga,” the organizers’ announcement said.

With the announcement already having been shared almost 12,000 times since it went online, it should come as no surprise that many were giddy at the prospect of getting their hands on new books.

As Facebook user Ana Andicoy joked,” You already ruined my financial management resolutions this year hahaha. Looking forward HAHAHAHA.”
