Just when we thought it was impossible to get kilig anymore over Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano’s love team, Quen took the kilig factor to another level on Sunday’s episode of Gandang Gabi Vice. He admitted his closeness to some of Liza’s relatives.
Just how close is he to Liza’s family now? Quen tells Vice Ganda, “Sobra.”
When Vice Ganda probed for more answers on what the relatives thought of the matinee idol, Enrique said he only heard them say, “He’s a keeper.”
Quen then introduced the audience to Liza’s mom, Jacqulyn Elizabeth Hanley, as well as her other relatives in a photo collage flashed in the studio.
The Dancing King added he was able to develop a closer relationship, not with Liza, but Liza’s Grandma Wanda: “Sobrang close namin, mas nag-bonding pa kami kaysa kay Liza,” he revealed.
In June, Liza’s father reminded Quen not to rush anything and just wait until the actress is ready for a commitment.
“May understanding na bawal pa talaga. My dad talked to him about that na sana hanggang maari work muna, wait for me to be fully ready, when the right time comes, and sabi naman niya he’s willing to wait,” Liza said in an interview with PEP.ph.
Around the same time, Liza’s mom asked Enrique to take care of her daughter during an emotional moment at the San Francisco International Airport.
In April, the love team admitted they are taking their relationship to the next level, when Liza confirmed long-standing rumors that the 23-year-old Quen is wooing her.
