On Saturday, June 21, Fete de la Musique will be happening all around Metro Manila. It’s a massive music party with three different stages and 19 pocket stages set up in two cities of Metro Manila. Call it bigger, call it better, whatever. This year, there’s just more to celebrate because hey hey hey we’ve been holding Fete de la Musique in the country for 20 years already! How time flies, we know.
The three main stages are at the 1) Greenbelt 3 Park, 2) A.Venue parking lot both in Makati, and finally 3) at Intramuros (Maestranza Plaza, Magallanes Drive, near the Bureau of Immigration). Everything’s for free—collective fist bump, YES!. The concerts start at 330pm.
Already our inboxes and social media feeds are buzzing with stage alerts, call times, and mega gimmicks from our musikero friends. At the Mod Stage at Society Lounge ( (G/F corner Atrium of Makati, Paseo de Roxas) ), for instance, Papa Mod Bing Austria tells us there will be free shots of Alfonso light until supplies last. At the Ska/Reggae stage at B-Side Collective (7274 Malugay St., Makati), there will be a live painting and merch bazaar complementing the music.
Thanks to Vin Dancel, who posted the schedule for the Intramuros main stage. Of course this schedule can and will probably change, so take this with a grain of salt and think of it as an estimate. See below:
The Fete de la Musique Facebook page has also published the schedule for all three stages. You may want to check that out, too.
