Most, if not all, brides cry during their wedding day. Heart Evangelista was one of those brides, but the reason for the tears was her dad, who was unable to attend her big day.
Heart’s mom was also not there but her sisters — Camille Ongpauco, Michelle Ongpauco, and Lissa Quirino — were present and they even surprised Heart with a letter from their dad, according to Pep.ph.
Mr. Ongpauco didn’t reveal why he wasn’t able to make it but he did say: “Alam mo, anak, gustong-gusto kita ihatid sa altar. Sino ba naman ang ama ang ayaw makita ang anak sa pinakaimportanteng araw ng buhay niya? A lot of things happened that hindered us from going. This is my promise: When the day comes that I see both of you truly happy, when I see Chiz loving you the way you deserve to be loved, I will come knocking on your door.”
