On, Sun, Apr 10, the first and only debate featuring candidates for Vice President at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Quadricentennial Pavilion was held in Manila. Vice Presidential bets Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, Senator Chiz Escudero, Senator Gringo Honasan, Senator Bongbong Marcos, Rep. Leni Robredo, and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV had a spirited debate about the issues affecting the country.
We made an attempt to live-tweet the event, which turned out to be loaded with verbal fireworks.
We’re not taking sides, so instead we listed the things we learned from the Vice Presidential debate based on what the candidates said, did, and wore. Mind you, we are not political analysts so the nuggets of wisdowm (for lack of a better word) that we got from the face-off may have political anaylysts shaking their heads.
