Where to get lit this New Year’s Eve in Manila

Truth be told, you could be anywhere in Metro Manila on New Year’s Eve and it’ll be “lit” in both the figurative and literal sense.

Just take a look at this viral video from New Year’s Eve 2014 to see how crazy people get with their fireworks.

But if just looking at fireworks isn’t lit enough for you, here are some places you can party, get your drink on, and dance the night into 2018.  Below, are details on some of this year’s best New Year’s Eve parties in Manila.

Resorts World Manila

And next door at the Marriott Grand Ballroom,  another concert countdown will be held featuring Filipino rock star Arnel Pineda; and singers Lani Misalucha, Sam Mangubat, Darren Espanto, and Jon Santos.

Eastwood

If you’re in Quezon City, there will be a free New Year’s Eve party at the Eastwood Mall’s open park.

Featured performers include: Gloc-9, Sam Concepcion, 2017 X Factor UK Finalist Alisah Bonaobra, Spongecola, Kiana Valenciano, KZ Tandingan; and Morissette and Karencitta of the viral hit single “Cebuana.”

Cove

The recently-opened Cove Manila, which claims to be the biggest indoor beach club in the Philippines, will have Grammy-wining French DJ Cedric Gervais play for their New Year’s Eve party.

The party starts at 10pm. Tickets can be purchased on their website here.

Black Market

Now for your first party of 2018, head on over to Black Market in Makati City.

The party doesn’t start until midnight, so this might be a good place to bring the after party if you still have enough energy to drink and dance ’til the sun rises.

Check out their event page for more info.

Have fun, get lit, but be safe, everyone! Oh, and friendly reminder: don’t drink and drive.
