German Moreno, who died on Jan 8 from cardiac arrest, lies in state at the Mt Carmel Shrine in New Manila, Quezon City.
He is there until his body is transferred to the set of Walang Tulugan With The Master Showman on Wednesday for the last night of his wake.

The showbiz veteran will be buried in Marikina on Thursday, after final rites in the morning.
Speaking to DZMM today, Moreno’s nephew John Nite said their family has been overwhelmed by the response to his uncle’s death.

He said their family believes Moreno is now in a happier and much better place with the Lord.
“I think he really lived a full life. In a lot of ways beyond showbiz, he touched a lot of hearts,” said Nite. With ABS-CBNnews.com
