Already on its 19th year, the French Film Festival happens from June 10 to 15 at cinema 1 of Greenbelt 3 in Ayala Center, Makati. Because demand is high and tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis, allow us to lay down a few logistical notes that should be able help you score a screening or two.
1. It happens on June 10 to 15 at the cinema 1 of Greenbelt 3, Ayala, Makati.
2. Except for June 12, only 5 movies will be screened every day starting 1pm. (There will only be 3 movies on June 12).
3. Them Frenchies will be celebrating our Independence Day on Thursday, June 12, by screening three Filipino movies. They are Maynila: Sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag, On the Job, and Norte.

4. There are 12 movies in total that will be screened during the festival. Strangely, “It Boy” which is the festival’s by-invitation-only opener, is the only French film that will be screened to the public once during the 5-day movie fest. It will be on June 14, Saturday at 330pm.
5. Rumor has it, people are bookmarking the rom-com “Relation Status: It’s Complicated.” While generally dissed by the Hollywood Reporter (“’Relation Status: It’s Complicated’ offers up a highly generic, generally unfunny love triangle that we’ve seen way too many times before” reads the review written by Jordan Mintzer), we’re interested with how the French does the rom-com genre. It will be shown three times the entire fest: On Friday, June 13 at 830pm; on Saturday, June 14 at 6pm; and on Sunday, June 15 at 830pm.
6. Tickets will set you back PHP100. They are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis only.
7. But you can reserve them babies on sureseats.com!
