Free entrance to the World War II Museum this week

To celebrate Veteran’s Week, entrance to The Board of Trustees of Veterans of the World War II Museum in Taguig will be waived for everyone all week from April 5-11.

The Museum is a most happy place for history buffs. You may as well consider this a place where the heroism of Filipino veterans is celebrated.

Here, visitors can find paintings, war-era photographs, and life-sized tableaus of little-known World War II events. Note: The statues in these tableaus were done by local artisans from Paete, Bulacan, Banaue, and Manila.

Don’t forget to swing by the library where original hand-written accounts and rare books will further tell stories about the war.
