To celebrate and emphasize the importance of kindness, Ayala Museum will be waiving its entrance fee on July 25, Saturday. Uh huh, free entrance to the museum, friends, but on one condition: You hafta be kind.
The museum is putting so much emphasis on this fast-disappearing human quality that apart from giving free access to its permanent and current exhibitions on view, Ayala Museum is also setting up a few one-day-only activities. Are you ready?
Visitors can ask artist Leeroy New what his Aliens of Manila is all about, say hello and hang out with Up Dharma Down’s Armi Millare, have a talk with painter Valerie Chua.
There are also hands-on activities designed by Team Manila, Craft Carrot, and Ang ilustrador ng Kabataan, as well as performances by the Manila Symphony Orchestra and the jazz sessionists of Tago Jazz Cafe.
As though that’s not enough, Jason Magbanua will be premiering a crowd-sourced short movie on the same day, and a mini-bazaar will be set-up at the museum, too.
This Day of Kindness, if we may, is a continuation of Ayala Museum’s ‘Inspire Every Day’ campaign, which was launched last year.
Says Miguel Acosta, senior marketing associate of Ayala Museum: “In 2014, Ayala Museum showed its guests what inspiration is. This year, we want to show them what it can do.”

Truly inspiring, we must agree.
