On May 15 via Facebook Marlene Aguilar, singer Freddie Aguilar’s sister, weighed in on the current feud between her brother and niece, Maegan. Marlene directed her anger at Freddie’s teenaged wife, who she seems to blame for the situation.
Apparently, Freddie had thrown out Maegan and her three kids from his house. Maegan has said in a Philippine Daily Inquirer interview that their tiff started when they argued about vegetables that got rotten.
“He got mad because the vegetables that he kept in the refrigerator got rotten. I told him I did not touch the veggies because I knew he would get upset. He also flared up because I hadn’t paid the PHP1,500 I borrowed from him. I used the money to buy diapers and milk for Mahi,” said Maegan.
