Yes, you read that right. Iconic singer Freddie Aguilar and daughter Maegan have already reconciled. This happened last June 1, 2015, at Freddie’s house in Fairview, Quezon City, according to Pep.ph.
Maegan has been through a lot lately. Apart from denouncing Freddie as her father after being supposedly kicked out because of a fight over rotten vegetables, she also split with her live-in partner after being beaten as a “parting gift.”
So what happened?
According to the StarTalk episode last Saturday, June 6, Maegan went to her father’s house to say sorry and ask for forgiveness. Freddie hugged his two grandkids while Maegan hugged her stepmom, Jovie Gatdula-Aguilar.
Replying to her apology, Ka Freddie said, “Sinasabi ko naman, hindi mo pa nagagawa eh pinapatawad na kita. Kaya lang, ang isang tatay, kailangan masunod ang kanyang rules and regulations sa bahay.”
So yes, all is well that ends well. Maegan even revealed that she now even wants to get to know her father’s 18-year-old wife better. Awww.
