MANILA – “Forevermore” is the latest Filipino TV series to be aired internationally, according to a teaser televised on Wednesday, following the success of numerous Kapamilya offerings abroad.

In a video counting down to the May 22 finale of the series, it was announced that “Forevermore” will soon start airing in Cambodia, Vietnam, and parts of Africa — territories where ABS-CBN programs have strong viewership.

Starring Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, “Forevermore” has enjoyed a top-rating run on primetime since its October 2014 debut.

The Star Creatives production revolves around reckless hotel heir Xander (Gil) and farm girl Agnes (Soberano), whose love story starts when he accidentally destroys her family’s produce.

ABS-CBN, through its International Distribution Division, has sold more than 30,000 hours of content to over 50 territories worldwide.

These include “Pangako Sa’Yo,” the 2000 series starring Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, which is said to be one of the most successful Philippine shows to air internationally.

The most recent ABS-CBN program to make waves among foreign audiences is “Be Careful With My Heart,” the long-running romantic-comedy series credited with changing morning television viewing in the country.
