As the Philippines caught the “Walang forever” craze, it seems the Roxas household has found their own version of “forever”.
“Forever Mar”, TV anchor Korina Sanchez says as she joked around with reporters at the sidelines of Mother Lily Monteverde’s star-studded birthday celebration.
It all started as Mar mentioned his birthday wish for Mother Lily: “I wish for her what I’d wish for my own mom: good health and more times that she can enjoy her friends and family, and more blessings because she is a good person.”
“Sa pagmamahal ay pagmamahal din ang isusukli ko,” Mar added.
Korina then said, “Forevermore,” which drew a hearty laugh from reporters. She followed that up: “Well, in this case, Forever Mar,” which drew more giggling.
Mar and Korina have been married since 2009.
