QUEZON CITY — Well, it’s about damn time!
In an interview with Marie Lozano of ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol on Wed, Jul 6, Daniel Padilla and Kathryl Bernardo finally admitted that they’re exclusively dating each other.
“Basta exclusive kami sa isa’t isa. Hindi pwedeng may iba,” Daniel said. “Kaming dalawa lang, parang ganun.”
(We’re exclusively dating. No one else should be in the picture. It’s just the two of us.)
Daniel and Kathryn noted, however, that they don’t want to label their relationship any further than that.
“Basta exclusive kami,” he said.
“Hindi na nga namin siya pinag-uusapan kasi parang nagkakaintindihan kami so depende siya sa situation,” Kathryn said.
(We don’t talk about it because it’s like we have an understanding so it depends on the situation.)
The romantic status of on-screen couple Daniel and Kathryn have long been the subject of speculation among fans and members of the entertainment press.
The two first worked together in the ABS-CBN youth show Growing Up, in 2011. Since then, they’ve been rumored to be more than just reel-life sweethearts.
A December 2014 Pep.ph report, citing unnamed sources, claimed the two were already in a relationship.
However, Daniel and Kathryn had remained coy and evasive when asked if they’re already a real-life couple — until now.
As they say, better late than never?
