Once and for all, Jake Ejercito has set the record straight on the paternity of Andi Eigenmann’s five-year-old daughter Ellie.
Jake admitted in a PEP interview that he only found out he was, indeed, Ellie’s dad when they took a DNA test about a year ago. “Let’s put this way, when I found out, nagulat ako. I was really surprised. But I’m happy and I have no regrets,” he said.
It may be recalled that Albie Casiño was initially tagged as Ellie’s father by Andi herself in a 2011 blog post.
When Jake was asked if he has plans to apologize to Albie anytime soon. He replied, “The thing (is), personally, I didn’t pinpoint on anyone. So I don’t see a need… me, personally, to apologize.”
He added: “Never ko rin naman inaway si Albie or anything.”

And here’s a revelation: Jake said Albie’s family is actually “close friends” with his father, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.
Last month, Andi’s half-sister Max Eigenmann inadvertently mentioned in a radio interview that Jake, and not Albie, is Ellie’s father.
Both Andi and Jake did not deny Max’s revelation in their seprarate statements, although they also did not confirmed it outright.

For his part, Albie maintained that he is in a “good place” right now, saying he is “super relieved” after the ordeal.
“We all knew it, di ba? That’s why when everyone’s asking me how do you feel now, I knew this. It’s not new to me. I already knew it. Everyone was asking me about lukso ng dugo. Like, I never had any of that. None of that,” Albie told James Patrick Anarcon of PEP.
Andi, meanwhile, has remained silent.
