Filipino Swifties lead demand as Klook ‘The Eras’ packages sell out

In case you’re wondering just how much the Philippines loves Taylor Swift, here’s a fun fact: the country led the sellout of over 600,000 concert ticket and hotel bundles by travel and experience platform Klook, hailed as the official experience partner for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Singapore.

This was followed by Singapore, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia.

Taylor Swift’s announcement of the countries included in The Eras Tour on her social media accounts left many Filipino fans disappointed as the Philippines was not among the selected Asian countries for the show.

To provide an alternative for Filipino and Southeast Asian Swifties, Klook offered another way for fans to earn tickets to the concert as the rest of Southeast Asia battled for tickets for the Singapore show — the only stop in the region.

“We expected immense demand but safe to say that was an understatement with more than 600,000 fans from across the region eagerly waiting in line and willing to spend more than SG$1,700 on our Klook Experience Packages,” Sarah Wan, General Manager, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, Klook, said.

In response to overwhelming demand from fans, AEG Presents Asia announced three additional dates for the show on their social media page. March 7 to 9 have been added to the original dates of “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Singapore” on March 2 to 4, 2024.

As of now, Singapore and Japan are the only Asian countries included in The Eras Tour.
