It’s official, Atom Araullo is moving to ABS-CBN rival GMA. Well, kind of official.

Yesterday, GMA Network’s Facebook page posted a 15-second video teasing people about a new person they’re welcoming.

“Who’s going to be the new Kapuso? Stay tuned for some big news tomorrow at [the news show] 24 Oras,” the caption reads in Filipino.

Kapuso (Roughly translates to “one heart”) is what the network calls their talents and employees. 24 Oras is the network’s flagship nightly news show.

The video is of a man driving to the GMA studios in Quezon City, but because it’s a teaser, most of his face is covered throughout the video.

Anyone who knows Araullo will notice it’s him when his eyes are briefly shown in the car’s rearview mirror.

This confirms theories people posted online within hours of Araullo’s announcement that he would be leaving ABS-CBN.

Araullo worked at ABS-CBN for more than a decade but got his start as a child reporter at GMA’s show 5 and Up.

Good job for figuring this out, internet. All that’s left to do is wait, see, and confirm tonight.
