Filipina model makes it to the top 3 of ‘Asia’s Next Top Model’

A back-t0-back win for the Philippines might be in the works as Adela-Mae Marshall snagged a spot at the top 3 of the reality competition Asia’s Next Top Model (AsNTM). 

Marshall made the announcement herself on her Instagram account yesterday, using a photo of hers that was taken during the competition.

LABAN PILIPINAS 🇵🇭 Masaya ako na, sa wakas ay masasabi ko sa inyo’ng lahat na nagawa kong dalhin ang ati’ng magandang bansa sa Top 3 of #AsNTM6. Sa tingin ko, kayong lahat ay maaaring sabihin na hindi ko inaasahan na makamit ko ito sa episode na ito at ang aking mga kakumpetensya ay parehong magaling pero ang pangako ko ay subukan ang aking pinakamahusay upang lumaban para sa back-to-back win. Gusto kong pasalamatan ang lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin sa buong kumpetisyon. Hindi ko naisip na makakatanggap ako ng labis na suporta at nagpapasalamat ako ng marami. 🌷 I am so happy to finally be able to tell you all that I was able to bring my beautiful country into the Top 3 of #AsNTM6 I think you may be able to tell that I didn’t think I would make it in this episode because both of my competitors were really strong but I will try my best to secure a back-to-back win for the Philippines. She wrote in English: “I am so happy to finally be able to tell you all that I was able to bring my beautiful country into the Top 3 of #AsNTM6. I think you may be able to tell that I didn’t think I would make it in this episode because both of my competitors were really strong but I will try my best to secure a back-to-back win for the Philippines.”

Marshall is referring to last year’s AsNTM winner, Filipino-German model Maureen Wroblewitz.

She added: “I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the whole competition. I never thought I would receive this much support and I am so grateful for it all.”

Marshall also added the hashtags #TeamAdela, #PhilippinesOnTop, and #BeyondLimits.

Rounding off the top 3 are Thailand’s Dana Slosar and Taiwan’s Mia Sabathy. AsNTM airs on Wednesdays at Fox at 9pm (Manila time).

Her fans are understandably ecstatic.
