A back-t0-back win for the Philippines might be in the works as Adela-Mae Marshall snagged a spot at the top 3 of the reality competition Asia’s Next Top Model (AsNTM).
Marshall made the announcement herself on her Instagram account yesterday, using a photo of hers that was taken during the competition.
She wrote in English: “I am so happy to finally be able to tell you all that I was able to bring my beautiful country into the Top 3 of #AsNTM6. I think you may be able to tell that I didn’t think I would make it in this episode because both of my competitors were really strong but I will try my best to secure a back-to-back win for the Philippines.”
Marshall is referring to last year’s AsNTM winner, Filipino-German model Maureen Wroblewitz.
She added: “I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the whole competition. I never thought I would receive this much support and I am so grateful for it all.”
Marshall also added the hashtags #TeamAdela, #PhilippinesOnTop, and #BeyondLimits.
Rounding off the top 3 are Thailand’s Dana Slosar and Taiwan’s Mia Sabathy. AsNTM airs on Wednesdays at Fox at 9pm (Manila time).
Her fans are understandably ecstatic.
