Veteran comedian Joy Viado passed away Sat night (Sep 10) after suffering a heart attack, according to ABS-CBN News. She was 57.
(She came from her friend’s home and when she came home, she was already having a hard time breathing… Then when we rushed her to the hospital, she was still having a hard time breathing while we were in the car. In the hospital, they tried to revive her but she was already declared dead on arrival.)
ABS-CBN News’ reporter MJ Felipe said Viado was rushed to Quezon City General Hospital on Sat night and was declared dead at 8:55 p.m. as told by Viado’s best friend Annete Lucido.
In 2015, Viado asked for help to save her food from being amputated as a result of diabetes complications.
