Fil-Am Katriz Trinidad gets 3 out of 4 chair turns on ‘The Voice’

We Pinoys love it every time there is a Pinoy who gets in international talent searches.

Half-Pinoy? Okay lang. One-fourth Pinoy? Okay lang. One-eight, one-sixteenth Pinoy? Okay lang! As long as there’s a drop of Pinoy blood there, we’re good. Just look at all the “proud to be Pinoy” comments.

It looks like there will be a deluge of “proud to be Pinoy” comments again, now that there’s another Fil-Am who made chairs turn in The Voice.

Katriz Trinidad, 1 15-year old Fil-Am, recently got The Voice mentors Pharell Williams, Gwen Stefani, and Blake Shelton turn their chairs for her after singing just a couple of lines from the monster classic “At Last” by Etta James.

In the end, she followed her gut and ended up as a member of Team Pharell.

Good luck, Katriz!
