You have to give it to Viva Entertainment. The trailer for their new movie, The Gifted, looks really interesting.
It’s about two gifted kids—one obese (Anne Curtis) and one ugly (Cristine Reyes)—whose friendship suffers when Anne’s parents pressure her to become number one, to be better than Cristine.
They end up fighting over a former schoolmate crush (Sam Milby), even transforming themselves to get his attention; Anne undergoes liposuction while Cristine goes for cosmetic surgery.
The movie was written and directed by Chris Martinez, the guy responsible for Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, so we’re pretty sure we’re in for a ride.
