Will Isabelle Daza follow the footsteps of her mom Gloria Diaz?

Well, not now.

The names of the 50 finalists that made it to this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant have already been released – and Isabelle Daza is not included. But it’s not as if she joined and got rejected. She just didn’t try out this year.

Her mother, 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, shared in an interview with ABS-CBN News last Monday that Isabelle is a little scared to join because she is naturally shy.

However, it’s not as if Isabelle has closed her doors, according to her mother.

The 24-year old stunner needs to make up her mind soon so she can prepare for next year’s pageant because that’s her last chance to join before she becomes overage.

But even if Isabelle didn’t join the pageant this year, Gloria is proud of her daughter, who is active in show business right now. According to ABS-CBN News, Isabelle will be seen next in the movie “It Takes a Man and a Woman,” together with John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo.
