K-pop acts just keep coming to Manila! Expect to see top boyband EXO as well as newbie performers on Oct. 28 when they fly to the country for the live broadcast of the variety program Show Champion from the Mall of Asia Arena.

Producer All Access Production (AAP) made the announcement yesterday on its Facebook account. This marks Show Champion‘s second Manila show, the first being in 2016 for its 200th episode, according to ABS-CBN News.

Show Champion started in 2012 and broadcasts live every Wednesday. Produced by MBC Music, it’s hosted by comedian Kim Shin-young.

The October concert will also be the second time EXO will be in Manila this year, the first being in April. Called the “Kings of K-pop,” the group is famous for hits such as Growl, Call Me Baby, Power, and Wolf.

Other artists performing are new acts Weki Meki, MXM, The Boyz, and Hyeongseop x Euiwoong.

While some fans are excited, a few are skeptical about whether or not the show will push through.

The 32nd Golden Disc Award, one of the most prestigious awards in South Korea, was supposed to be produced by AAP in January this year but was canceled due to internal issues.

Wrote fan Denise Jao: “Here you go guys. Next announcement is ‘MBC Show Champion in MNL is canceled.'”

Other fans, however, wished that AAP was able to bring in other acts, such as the phenomenal BTS.

Wrote Ti Xiu: “What’s better AAP is if you brought EXO and BTS so we’ll get to know who is better. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.”

One Angging Ramirez wants to know the ticket prices soon.
